We have been in charge of the global digital launch of every title for Activision since 2006 including Call of Duty, Destiny 2, Sekiro and Crash Team Racing alone this year – over 200 campaigns and produced over 41k banners.

Activision’s Call of Duty is quite simply, massive. It’s the world’s biggest entertainment franchise and since it launched in 2004 has amassed total sales of over $17 billion. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the 16th major title and once again, Activision looked to us to deliver the global digital launch.

From the reveal and leading up to the global launch, we produced and delivered a vast array of digital content, including over 3000 ad placements across 28 countries and 18 languages – and all in just 20 days from conception to delivery. The majority of ad placements were produced for various publishers including IGN, Twitch, Spotify, ESPN, Sky and Vice to name but a few. This was all managed by our in-house proprietary digital display platform –Oceanview.
Some of the assets included 10 video variations including launch countdown videos, platform-specific videos, and game mode-specific videos. The game mode-specific videos were to promote all three major sections the MW launch has to offer: Story, Gameplay, and Spec Ops.
